  1. Thank you for sharing God’s message! I love this phrase… “As I picture the mountains of my life crumbling through the power of prayer”.

  2. Great post! The easy route would be to see the mountian and turn around. But then we’re only going backwards. Thanks for reminding us that, by the grace of God, we can face that mountain, or watch it fall flat at our feet.

  3. Thank you. I feel like I’m currently surrounded by these mountains and I’m looking for ways to conquer them on my own. The verse from Romans is exactly what I need to hear. And this post. God bless.

  4. Thank you Jennifer…oh, I love that you pointed out that turning around and running from our mountains would be the ‘easy route.’ So thankful for my Jesus and those girlfriends also bonded with Him that encourage me down the challenging routes 🙂 If it was always easy it might likely be a lonely route too, huh?

  5. Thank you Rebecca…we all need reminders from time to time don’t we? Lifting you and your current mountains up to Jesus–may the overcomer He has made you to be shine in your corner of the world.

  6. Glad you’re writing again—I really enjoyed your post! The whisper of God makes all the difference…thanks for the reminder to be still with Bible open & listen…

  7. One post after another tonight has spoken of the same thing, the dime (dreams) in the dirt waiting to be picked up and made shiny agian.

A mountain with a buzzing bug flying around it….each a message of over coming sent by a loving God who so desires to use us frail vessel no matter what mountain we have faced. . Hearts that fill with doubts, confusion, fear and other emotions brought on by just living a life here on earth.

Prayer is the common ground we can all meet on no matter what our mountain is, thanks for the reminder in your post we are more than conquerors through Him who loves us. (Romans 8:37). Tell that flying bug he is an instrument of God designed to help a child of God come to truths that will free them.

I’ll be on the lookout for a dime in the dirt and flying bugs…..and trusting God to crumble a mountains in my life. GREAT POST

  8. “… we are more than conquerors through him who loved us” (Romans 8:37). I love this verse, Julie! The word “conquerors” just gives me goose bumps. What power there is through conquering through Christ! Thanks for the great reminder!
