  1. I will be praying for you and your mom. Thank you so much for this post. I am in a dark place in life right now and this one meant so much. A great reminder that God does know we will be okay.

  2. I will be praying. I just wrote on my blog about believing in Christ through the difficult times. You see, I have 4 adopted children. My oldest son, who is 12 had to be sent to a boys’ ranch this summer. This has sent everything in my life into a tailspin…but do I really believe God is able. May our Lord grant health to your mom’s body, but most importantly to her spirit.

  3. Oh Jessica. This one really gets to me. My Mom was run-over in 2006 and had massive head injuries. She came out unscathed with multiple drs. saying she shouldn’t be alive. Head trauma SHAKES me to the core. I can understand the anxt in the face of this issue.
I will pray fervently. PEACE. He IS in control.

  4. Thank you for your words today. My experience and work with individuals where healing never came may say it this way: “Believing even if He does not give healing.” As we companion those who have experienced loss, we have found it helpful to focus on the grace of God to continue in spite of the loss. We often pray with those in crisis, “Lord, we ask for healing. But we promise to love and trust you no matter what.”
I pray you are given the gift of healing today for your mom. I pray that your faith will be strong, no matter what.

  5. Praying for your mom and for you during this difficult time.
Don’t forget..that no matter what is going on…God is already there. He will bring your mom through this.

  6. Praying! I am recovering from abdominal surgery I had 10 days ago to correct a rectal proplapse. I went through an intense spiritual battle the night before being released from the hospital, but I can say that God is indeed faithful and will be so for your mom!

  7. I will be praying for you and your family. May God surround you with His loving arms and may you feel love during this time.

  8. So often we have to take a step before we see God working. That’s faith. Hard, though. Like the account where God tells the priests to step into the flooding Jordan river and they have to do it BEFORE he stops the flowing water. Crazy! Praying you’ll see God’s faithfulness as you step in faith and trust instead of worry.

  9. Thank you Holley for your site. I believe it helps to encourage one another. It helps to read your posts and others. God knows our future. Mine is up in the air with my husband. I am exhausted and need a nap. 🙂 God bless everyone.
