  1. Our church has an entire ministry focusing on this issue and it has been extremely sobering. My brother just finished producing a movie from the book – Not for Sale.
So powerful! And overwhelming…thanks for bringing this to life.

  2. I have some good friends who were just talking about this the other day..Thank you for doing the same. Overwhelming but powerful at the same time.

  3. Heather, I love your compassionate heart and willingness to use your words as weapons to defend the weak. I imagine your Heavenly Father is beaming today. Beautiful.

  4. I have been praying against this atrocity since I viewed that movie. I too am blessed beyond measure to live where it is relatively safe.

  5. Thank you for this post. When my hubby and I visited the Philippines 5 years ago…hearing the atrocities from the people who lived the nightmare was overwhelming. Unthinkable. My heart breaks for the women and children who are forced into such ugly, disgusting and despicable conditions. I know I am to help…the hardest part is knowing where to start. Thank you for providing opportunities for women like myself to get involved and make a difference in the lives of others. To be a catalyst of True and Positive Change and bring glory to our Father in heaven.

  6. I love how you say, “There is nothing quite like worshiping God like defending the week.” I want to be an abolitionist, too.
Thanks for putting your generous heart into this story!

  7. There’s an organization out of Kansas City called Exodus Cry that’s devoted to eradicating trafficking (they’re working on a documentary right now), and also the Salvation Army has a division about trafficking.
    Thanks for spreading the word!
